  • High-power module using 155mm square poly-crystalline silicon solar cells. These have a 12.8% conversion efficiency.
  • Tempered glass, aluminum frame, EVA resin and weatherproof film ensure extended outdoor use. These modules will withstand a 1" hailstone at 52 MPH. Sharp modules are tested to static loads of 45 PSF, equivalent to wind loads of 125 MPH. This is necessary to pass UL 1703 requirements.

  • The ND208U1 is perfect for high-voltage series grid-connected applications. A MPPT charge controller is available for 12V applications as well (optional).

The Sharp ND-208U1 208 watt solar panel offers high-powered performance and industry leading durability for large electrical power requirements. Using advanced technology perfected by Sharp's nearly 45 years of research and development, these modules use advanced surface texturing to reduce reflection of sunlight to improve conversion efficiency. This surface texturing not only improves efficiency, it also provides a more subdued natural look.

A built-in bypass diode provides minimal power drop caused by trees, clouds, night-time and other low-light conditions.

Common applications for the ND208U1 include grid-tie systems. These modules can also be used for cabins, office buildings, solar power stations, pumps, radio relay stations, beacons, and lighting equipment. Designed to withstand rigorous weather conditions.
