Multicrystalline Solar Panel

The BP SX330J photovoltaic module is part of BP Solar's new SX module series. It is the new replacement for the BP SX30 (BP SX30U). It provides affordable solar power for DC loads with lower energy requirements. This solar module uses 36 multicrystalline cells in series. This panel configuration is ideal for charging a 12 volt battery or 24 volt battery bank in virtually any climate (with a charge regulator / controller).

There are typical commercial applications of this module, which generates a nominal maximum power of 30 watts. Applications include remote telemetry, instrumentation systems, security sensors, signals, and land-based navigation aids.

The Universal Frame has a junction box and a very rugged frame. The junction box accepts cable or conduit. The included standard terminals accept 8 to 14 AWG wire.

The raintight (IP54 Rated) junction box of the SX 330 accepts PG13.5 or 1/2" nominal conduit or cable fittings. With its four -terminal connection block, it enables most system array connections (putting modules in series or parallel) to be made right in the junction box. The SX330 is intended for 12VDC or 24VDC systems.

The SX330 is approved by Factory Mutual Research for application in NEC Class 1, Division 2 FM, Groups C & D hazardous locations and approved for explosion resistance. This certification is required near gas and oil pipelines.
