The Deka Duration DD460-12H is a drop in replacement for Group 8D VRLA batteries and delivers 460Ah of lithium iron phosphate energy storage at 12.8V nominal for 5.89 kWh of usable capacity per unit. Engineered for cold-climate off-grid solar, commercial energy storage, industrial backup power, and marine applications, this monobloc battery includes a built-in low-temperature heater that automatically activates when battery temperature drops below 32°F.
Rated for 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, the DD460-12H combines exceptional longevity with year-round reliability for demanding installations in all climates. The sealed ABS+PC fire-rated enclosure with IP67 rating provides dust and water resistance for outdoor environments, while included busbars simplify terminal connections for scalable parallel and series configurations.
