Deka Unigy II Batteries by East Penn Manufacturing are constructed using the finest quality materials and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques. They are ideal for larger, battery-based solar, wind, hydro or hybrid systems that demand high performance and a long cycle life. The Deka Unigy II 2-volt battery is available as either a single cell or system design, and features a wide range of capacities with ratings from 91 – 2000 AH @ 8 HR. to 1.75 v.p.c.

The Unigy II Spacesaver battery module line utilizes a smaller footprint and a real space saver! They save space while providing optimal power. The new reduction in space enables less restriction for ground and vertical space confinements and meets the latest UBC97 Zone 4 specifications, certified up to 8 modules high. Assembly is quick and easy with a simplified, yet advanced layout configuration and "two-way" post design allowing quick connector assembly and optimized current transfer.

The Deka Unigy II Spacesaver modules are available in one-piece base Interlock Module or three-piece non-interlock models. Unigy II AVR battery cells are 100% sealed and thoroughly tested. The cover and jar are composed of rugged polypropylene and is UL 94 V-0 Certified.

Deka AVR battery cells feature plates formed with IPF Technology. The rugged polypropylene cover and jar are UL 94 V-0 certified.

Unigy II Spacesaver Features

We also carry the 48-volt AVR95-33. Its size is reduced by 3.5" in height and 6" in width compared to previous Unigy models. The AVR95-33 is rated at 1520 A.H. at the 8 hour rate, to 1.75 volts per cell (vpc)

All plates in the Unigy II Spacesaver series are individually formed using East Penn Manufacturing's exclusive IPF™ Technology allowing systems to be shipped at 100% rated capacity.

East Penn Manufacturing (EPM) Unigy II products are designed to meet the requirements of IEC 60896-21/22, BS 6290 and SR-4228.

Interlock™ Module

The Interlock™ Module features a one-piece base and requires only front access bolts for mounting. This module option meets UBC 97 (Interlock™ only) Zone 4 top of building requirements. These Interlock™ Modules are certified to 8 modules high, top of building.

Non-Interlock Module

The Non-Interlock Module features a three-piece base and has front and rear access bolts for mounting. This Non-Interlock model meets UBC 97 Zone 2B top of building requirements – Zone 4. These Non-Interlock Modules are certified up to to 8 modules high on ground level.
