The FranklinWH aPower S Lithium Battery

The FranklinWH aPower S is a hybrid battery energy storage system integrating 15 kWh of usable lithium iron phosphate capacity with a built-in 11.5 kW inverter and four independent MPPT charge controllers. This all-in-one architecture supports direct solar connection with up to 20 kW DC input capacity while maintaining 90.5% round-trip efficiency for grid-to-load applications. The system delivers 11.5 kW continuous output with 15 kW peak capability, suitable for whole-home backup in residential installations.

TThe aPower S features front wiring access for simplified installation and IP67-rated enclosure for outdoor deployment. Four built-in MPPTs with 15A capacity each accommodate multiple solar array orientations and complex roof layouts without external combiners. The system operates from -4°F to 131°F with integrated thermal management including heating blankets for cold-climate reliability.
